Week 24: 060611 – Ukali ka Alaka’i a me Mele 'Aina ahiahi

BOT:

E ALA E!

Finally, the Sun is OUT!

Btw, has anyone noticed that the light seems a just little more brilliant than usual? Or maybe I’ve been living under the clouds just a little too long? Anyway, I’m grateful for the Blue Skies and Warm Sun regardless, now if we only had a little trade winds and coconut trees . . .

So, it seems that our new FNF (Friday Night Format) was well received by everyone. I’m thinking we’ll go with that for now, but not wanting to give up Solos entirely, Pua suggested that we add a little “Dinner Music” to the format as well. Hence our theme for this week will be “Follow the Leader and Dinner Music”. What this means is that during Kaukau, please feel free to help yourself to the Stage and entertain your fellow Ukulele Pilots with what bursting to come out of you. This is a self managing session so you will need to cooperate with each other and share the stage with your fellow pilots. That is until The SqL deems it’s time to start the next Kanikapila Session.

I’m also grateful and thankful to you all that supported Keoki Kahumoku and James Hill this past weekend by signing up for their Ukulele workshops. Mahalo Nui Loa to you all for keeping the Ukulele Community thriven here in the North Bay. Keoki was wanting to jam with us Saturday but realized we had to road trip to Santa Cruz that afternoon. And what Road trip it was! Mahalo Nui Loa to Suzie, Keoki, Tiffany and James for allow me to share time with them. Anyway, more on that later.

Immediately below is a 360 degree Panoramic of the UFOhana in full flight formation.
