Week 19: 050211–Na Mele O Lei Na Puanani

BOT:

Aloha Ahi Ahi All!

Here we are at the beginning of a new week, I hope you’re all off to a good start. Though it is Monday, at least it was beautiful day. Btw, I believe it’s May Day in Hawai’i  which also means it Lei Day Too . . . Garland of Flowers every where . . . Which is a good lead in to our Theme for the Night. Not sure what songs might work into this but I was thinking songs about Beautiful Flower Leis, or at least something alluding to that? Anyway, there you have it!

Again, Mahalo to you all for the great Kanikapila session last week and also to those of you who generously contributed to the Yellow Bucket! It’ll definitely help with the new toner cartridge.

Also, please do send in Songs you’d like to include with our Flight Manual Volume 2. I’m thinking of closing for changes this week, so get those mele in or wait for volume 3.

Mahalo Donna for the great photos week after week after . . . .

Below: Max our resident Chihuahua-zilla . . . careful, he only looks cute! Though I don’t think Kukana bites?

Below: the UFOhana and new friends in flight . . . you may now roam about the cabin . . .

Below: Linda and Michael doing their Duet, a cool original composition by Michael. Also, Kukana doing a Hula set of Koke’I, Lei Nani and more . . .

Uke-Ku
Leaves twitch in the wind,
Golden light of setting sun,
Ohana returns . . .

Ok, have a great week everybody. E’ Komo mai Hale to our Merrie Monarch Away team! We missed you all!

Spok-U-Bom-Bye La Dat!
