Week 42: 101810 Travel Songs

BOT:

Aloooooooha UFOhana! I hope this finds all you well and healthy. I’ve finally on the tail end of this bug and am finally feeling almost like myself (what ever that might be). I’m still basking in the after glow of the BBB (Blue Bridge Bash), I keep thinking how lucky we are to have made contact with such an Aloha filled Ohana. I hope some of them make it down this way someday you can meet them. Mahalo again to Brudda Carey and Ricky for allowing us to attend.

As you can see from the Music theme we’re in a traveling mood again. So this week’s theme is in honor of the 1st Mainland to Hawaii Flight, which took place on October 22, 1936 (Friday). So I guess this means Boats, Planes, Trains, Automobiles and Astral Projection too! I know Brudda Bu and Amy are still out there some where. I hope they’re not taking any more scary Indian Bus Rides! Here’s their blog for those of you interested:

They are both such great writers, they could probably do this for a living . . . nah! I’d rather they be here for Friday nights! Miss you Brudda Bu and Amy. Btw Bu, Brudda Ed from up north sends his Alohas to you.

I want to extend a Mega-Mahalo to all of you for giving KimoB, Wa’li and myself such a great homecoming last week. To Aki for filling that big hole on the serving table with all her delicious KauKau, certainly worth waiting for. And to all of you for your generous contributions. Mahalo Nui Loa ia UFOhana!

A special Mahalo to Donna for all the great photos she took last week. Donna, you’re the ‘Bestest’!

psssssst. btw . . . we’re celebrating Kukana’s AND Sandy’s birthday this friday . . . but don’t tell her or sandy . . . that’s her below left with the beeeeeg smile, sandy’s at the bottom right!
