Week 11: 031510 – Torch and Croon Night

BOT:

Aloha Ahi Ahi UFOhana!

Here we are 10 Years and 1 week later! Mahalo everyone for making our 10th Year such a wonderful celebration. It was great seeing all of you on that special night. The music, the beautiful Hawaiian Black and White attire, the Onolicious foods, the wonderful hula from our fabulous Wahines, all made for a memorable 10th Year. Mahalo and Aloha Nui Loa again to all. Btw, speaking about memorable, here’s a link to that wonderful hula and haka from Watson and Steve: http://www.kahua51.org/Video/Ulupalakua&Haka.wmv . Mahalo Steve and Watson for adding to the Aloha that night.

So as you’ve guess by now our Music Theme for this week will be Torch and Croon songs. Pretty easy right? Should be an interesting night of swooning and crooning huh?

As for food theme, I’m thinking we’ll do, JBHF (Just Bring Health Foods). As usually, please do post your Incoming Rations for this Friday. Also, we still have a few “(10) Year Books” left in case anyone’s interested. Btw, if you haven’t signed my book yet please do remind me.

Below some Images from that night. Mahalo Carey, Steve, Pua and Sandy for assisting with the collection of images.

I can make it this Friday, and I think I have learned my first crooning song, so I may be willing to go solo! As for food, I'll try to bring some type of healthy vegetable side dish, probably of the green variety.
