Aloooooha Ahi Ahi UFOhana!

Well here we are at the end of our 2 week in Hawaii and it’s been a very eventful one! Besides the usual days surfing the East and South Shores we also attended the 39th Annual Ukulele Festival in Kapiolani Paka. Remember that Song?

Man, after hearing this Kid, I’ll never complain about not being able able to play my uke ever again. Other great performers, Holunape, Ken Makuakane, Bill Tapia, Taimane (the Female Version of Jake) and many others. Unfortunately I won’t be able to upload much tonight as we got home late from the Wailua Obon Festival (wait till you see Rick and Aki doing Obon Dances). I hope to have some down time next week to post to the blog. We’re off to Maui tomorrow to visit Ken Potts, Ukulele Maker. Woohoo!
