Week 4 – 2009
BOT:
Alooooooha UFOhana!
Well here we are at the end of Week 4. The weathers been beautiful, though cold in the mornings, but it brings signs of a dry summer. I hope you’ve all been staying well out there and / or recovering from that killer bug.
I wanted to share some images from last Friday with you folks. Stevie B and Brudda Bu showed up with some cool T-Shirts that I’m sure will become collector’s items quickly.
This is the image used for Stevie –B’s T-Shirt design. Mahalo to Laura Miller for sharing this with us, “Obama Riding the Wave of Change”, you could say.
Too good! Eat’s Spam, give’s the Shaka sign, owns a Blackberry, and now, Body Surfs! I bet he speaksDa’Kine too! Sorry, I know I’ve been violating our Protocol of Non-Politics. But I couldn’t help it . . . He Body Surfs!!!!
Onto Week 4’s food theme, I’m thinking we’ll keep it simple and go with our favorite of “JBF”.
Btw, I want to point out as an aside to that remarkable ‘crash’ landing of the passenger jet in the Hudson River. We have our own survivor to not 1, but 2 crash landings in our midst, Linda Wallace. Ask her about it sometime.
Btw, Great Solos last week! Mahalo to all that participated, it’s looking like our next song book is going be even bigger this time around. Mahalo KimoB for managine The SoloS Board!
A Big Mahalo to those Kitchen Menehunes that help keep Hangar 1585 in running condition.

Feeling recovered but tonight we had a previous engagement planned already... gotta go support our future politicians-high school club from Berkeley. They asked for songs on the uke...say, where can I get one of those??!!
Be there next week by hook or crook.
Aloha, Sharon
