Aloha Friday On The Horizon . . .
BOT:
.... and there's a Full Moon t-o-o-o-o-o-o—o-o-o-o-o-o-o!
Aloha UFOhana, what a great Uke Night this past Friday. Mahalo to Natasha for joining us all the way from the Island of New Mexico! So good to see you again Natasha.
Mahalo to all for the Onolicious KauKau and Meles, especially those great Solos! I remember when it use to take a crowbar to pry those solos out. It's such a treat to be able to kick back and enjoy those Meles.
Regarding the Solo Flights. I am instituting a Flight Log (Solo Sign Up) on white board because I know I keep forgetting to ask the shy ones. So In the South Eastern Corner of Hangar 1585 I've put up a white board where all those interested in a Solo/Portagee Solo/Group Flight can sign up. No stand up comics please.
Also I want to say that though the mini-amps have been great for Pa'ani we really need to pay attention to the volume while in strum mode. They can quite easily drown out everyone else, especially our beautiful lead singers. So please when in Group Formation, and amped, strum softly. General rule of thumb, if you can't hear the Vocals, you're too loud.
As for Food Theme this week. How does "Full Moon" sound? Fine? Gooooooood! Sound like a Night for Bad Moon Rising?

Just got home from a fantastic voyage in the Mediterranean. If it hadn't been for my family constantly telling me I had no room left in my bags, I would have come home with a cumbus ukulele, and a bazuki (however that's spelled)!!! Oh well, next time.
I've missed everyone and hope to see you next Friday.
I did play the ukulele for a homesick Hawaiian crew member on the cruise, and our table serenaded our
waiters with o solo mio and it's now or never with Rich as Elvis.
