Aloha Friday At Last!
BOT:
Aloha Ahi Ahi UFOhana. Well, Aloha Friday is upon us at last! I'm definitely ready for some healing Ohana Music. It's been a tough busy week. I Hope all yours has been better. Amazingly we always manage to survive don't we?
Big Mahalo out to all for a great KauKau and Kanikapila last week. Speaking of music, I have to say it just amazes me how many great songs keep appearing these past Friday Nights. Mahalo Nui for sharing!
Also, want to say Mahalo again to the Kitchen Menehunes who do the great clean up everynight. Truely, they are our un-sung (pun intended) Heroes of Friday Night. Mahalo Nui from the Medina Ohana. Speaking of Heroes, isn't that series due to start up again?
Anyway, onto the food theme for this week. In Honor of Amelia Earhart, born 1898 July 24th, we shall do "Flights of Fantasy Foods". There, I did it. I'll leave the rest of to you folks. Btw, don't we have any Ohana Birthdays this month? Oli-oli-Ox-n-free?

Fallen Koa Tree,
From the saw dust a promise,
U'hane Returns.
Spok-U-Bom-Bye!

We'll bring Hawaiian baked beans (pineapple sausages with beans- no garlic or onions) and Hawaiian Fantasy fruit salad (papaya, pineapple, mac nuts, shredded coconut, baby marshmallows and yogurt).
Sounds like a fantasy trip to the islands!
Aloha,
Sharon
