Komomai to Summer!

BOT:

Let's see, kids out of school, check. Aki and Rick on vacation on Hawai'i Moku, check. Warm weather, check. So, I guess it's safe to assume that Summer is upon us now?

Mahalo Nui Loa to all that braved last Friday's heat and made their way to Hangar 1585 and a fond E'Komo'mai to our wayward pilots. Great to see you all again.

I want to say Maika'i (Well done) to the great soloists last week. I'm so inspired by the great Mele you all bring in to the Ohana.

As for this week's food theme I'm thinking "Technicolor Foods!" in honor of the demo 1st color TV (NYC) in 1929. Ok, there it is, I better get my camera ready for this one.

Btw, we're making another Bogie's excursion this week.

Patty and Linda, we'll add orange with baked sweet potato fries and something else colorful and yummy yet TBD.

Off to the dentist now. Hope to have a colorful song ready if my mouth agrees.
Will leave early as Karen has an early morning flight tomorrow.

I'll be rejoining the squadron on the later side ... around 2100 hours ... so I'll try to bring a sufficiently technicolorful dessert. See you all tonight! --- Tom
