Well it's been a long, but fun, weekend and an equally long week thus far. I hope you're all doing well and will be able to join us for a Hale E'Komomai (Welcome Home) Friday!
It was great seeing some of you at Kumu Rick's hula performance. It made all the difference to know that the UFOhana was out there during the performance.
So here we are the hump of the week and another Fun Filled Friday Night rises in the horizon like a full moon. Speaking of moons, I understand that tonight is the new moon. So I'm thinking we'll go with it and use for our food theme of "New Food" or maybe "New Phase (Moonless) Food"?
Anyway, I'm anxious to be with our UFOhana again and strum into the night.

Aloha all,
We'll bring some things new to the ohana. New Moon Chicken salad and a rice salad with garbanzos, feta and black olives (all sans garlic and onion).
