Last Uke Night at Hangar 1585 . . .

BOT:

Aloha Ahi Ahi UFOhana!

This Friday will be the last Uke Night at Hangar 1585 until I get back from my Hawaiian Cruise.

However Amy and Brudda Bu will be sponsoring Uke Night at their Hale (Home) on the 26th. Below are the details from Brudda BU:

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

On Friday October 26th, Amy and Craig are hosting the ukulele `ohana potluck, because Del is away on his cruise performing for Rick Smith's halau performers! Since they will be on their way to Hawaii, we would like to send music to them by doing an all-Hawaiian kanikapila night. If you know someone who loves the Hawaiian music tradition, ok to bring them too.

So please come, and if desired bring something brand new to sing or play or dance, with copies of the music to share

If everyone can bring the He Mele Aloha, and any music stands they have, and bring copies of any songs they really love in the keys they want, that would be great. Also the kau kau of your choice.

Time: 7:30

The address: 353 Mt Shasta Drive, San Rafael CA 94903. Directions: take 101 to the Smith Ranch/Lucas Valley exit. Go west, 2.25 miles. Turn right on Mt Shasta. When you reach a stop sign at Idylberry, keep going straight. Take the very next left on to Mt Shasta. Our house is 2nd on the right. phone:

415 472-6685.

Ok, there you have it.  I'll be listening for you guys so sing loud now!

Well the rain's upon us again. It's been a challenge riding a bike in the rain but it's definitely exhilarating! I hope you've all been keeping well, or a least on the road to recovery if you've been fighting that cold going around.

As for this week's Food Theme, I'm thinking "South Food" in recognition of in 1968 Golden Gate Bridge charges tolls only for South bound cars.

Also, we'll be celebrating Lucas Medina's 12th Birthday! So be ready to sing it in F!

Mahalo to all, again, for the great Meles, Hula and Kaukau last Friday. Definitely a bittersweet time for all. Again, keep your sending your Aloha and thoughts to Al and Amy.
